CONCH BURGERS
 
INGREDIENTS

1 lb conch (fresh or frozen)
6 tbsps celery, chopped fine
4 tbsps. sweet red pepper, chopped
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
2 tbsps. lime juice
1 tbsp. worcestershire sauce
2 tbsps. butter or margarine
1/2 tsp. thyme
1/8 tsp. hot pepper sauce
2 eggs
3/4 cup bread crumbs
 
METHOD:

1. Grind conch to hamburgers texture.
2. Beat eggs slightly and mix all ingredients except bread crumbs toether. Add crumbs and mix with hands, to form burgers.
3. Fry in oil for 15-20 mins
4. Serve with barbeque sauce, ketchup or top with cheese.
