DEVILLED BEEF
 
INGREDIENTS

2 lbs beef
1/4 cup chopped cashew nuts (optional)
2 tbsp curry powder
2 cloves garlic ground
1 piece ginger ground
4 tbsp soy sauce
2 sweet peppers (cut)
2 tbsp tomato sauce
4 onions chopped
3 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp sugar
1 tsp pepper and salt or to taste
 
METHOD:

1. Slice and tenderize meat, then mix all ingredients with meat.
2. Finally add sugar, soy sauce, tomato sauce, salt and peper.
3. Grill, bake or cook on hot cinders with dabs of butter on the meat.
4. Fill lined dish and cover with 2 layers of oiled paper and tie down.
5. Place in a pan of boiling water to come halfway up dish, and stew in oven for 1hr. at 350°F
6. Turn out on platter and decorate with mashed potatoes and slices of tomato.
