GARIFUNA STEW MEAT
 
INGREDIENTS

2 lbs. steak
1 sml. onion
1 sweet pepper
2 recardo balls
1/4 cup vinegar
1 tsp. ground pepper
1 tsp. salt
1/2 lb. cabbage
1/2 tomato
1/2 lb coco
1/2 lb yams
1 potato oil water
 
METHOD:

1. Cut up steak and season with onions, sweet pepper, black pepper, salt, recardo and vinegar.
2. Heat oil and brown meat adding water a little at a time until tender.
3. Pour enough water and add sliced root.
4. Stew until done.
