| RUM PUDDING |
| INGREDIENTS 3 cups milk 3 egg yolks, beaten 1/2 cup sugar 2 envelopes gelatin 1/2 cup cold water 3/8 cup rum 1/2 pt. whipped cream pinch of salt |
| METHOD: 1. Scald milk in double boiler. 2. Add beaten eggs and salt to milk and stir until coating forms on spoon like custard. 3. Dissolve the gelatin in water. 4. Add gelatin mixture to custard mixture. 5. Remove from stove and cool. 6. Add 3/8 cup rum and beat. 7. Chill thoroughly. 8. When thickened add 1/2 pt. whipped cream. |
