| BEET WINE |
| INGREDIENTS 1 lb beets 1/2 pk yeast 1/2 lb. ground ginger 1/4 lb raisins 1 1/2 pts. water |
| METHOD: 1. Wash and pass beets through mincer. 2. Put beets, sugar and raisins in an earthenware bowl. Pour boiling water. When just warm, stir in yeast, when cold, pour into mouthed glass jar. 3. Shake daily, after 3 weeks drip through flannel bottle label. |
